This love is an old one. I remember seeing
EQ comics in the bookstore on my school
route in elementary school. I went to the
store every day to look at them, but didn't
dare buy them, if I even had the money,
I can't remember. One day they were gone
and I was sad but never forgot them... Found
them again in junior high in the local library.
Soon I was old enough to buy them for myself.
Now they're safely in my bookshelf. I bought
them as graphic novels - collections - and
also the magazines when the Great Fracturing
happened. And then it went into limbo. I'm
still waiting.
People tell me they can see EQ influence
in my art. I wonder how they can tell it
apart from the manga influence.
